Corduroy Cowboy: A Collab Strain For Creative Expression

We worked closely with our good friend Cam Norton, aka “Corduroy Cowboy,” to develop a strain perfectly balanced for the creative process. The result is a relaxed but clear-headed experience that leaves you open-minded yet intentional in your work.

Corduroy Cowboy, an indica-dominant hybrid of Jet-A and Runtz, delivers a pungent aroma blending diesel, sweet candy, and earthy pine. Its flavor boasts a creamy, gassy inhale and a sugary, fruit-forward exhale. The effects are heavy and sedating, ideal for unwinding with a calm body high and a hazy, euphoric mindset.

Cam Norton here, aka the “Corduroy Cowboy” himself- and I’m very excited to announce the release of this strain in conjunction with my upcoming album! As an avid cannabis connoisseur, to have WNC CBD partner with me to make this happen is a real dream come true.

Cannabis and music have always been best friends, walking hand-in-hand throughout history to help create some of the most iconic records to ever hit the airwaves. Artists the world over have used cannabis to relax, to help inspire, to overcome writer’s block, and much more- and when it comes time to enjoy some great bud, you want the best.

Throughout the making of this record, my team and I have been thoroughly enjoying WNC CBD’s top-notch cannabis every step of the way. From Granddaddy Purp to Panama Red, we have all been able to find the strain that works for each of us. Personally, I prefer a strain that is well-balanced; physically relaxing and anxiety-reducing, while stimulating my creativity and opening the door to new ideas and sounds.

After working with WNC CBD to curate the genetics and parent strains to be exactly what I was looking for, the Corduroy Cowboy strain was born- and it couldn’t have turned out better. A harmonious union of Jet-A and Runtz, Corduroy Cowboy knocks it out of the park. This bud is big, beautiful, loud and proud- and truly everything I could ask for.

This record is, above all, one thing- honest. Honest songwriting, raw instrumentation, and down-to-earth production; all of which have been gleefully guided along with the help of the fine cannabis from my friends at WNC CBD.
